Can you still change DDP QS credits to snacks?

Not been since 2016 and our 2019 trip got cancelled last minute when my son had an accident. We have now booked for 2020 and as a treat added on 5 days at Beach club

I recall in 2016 we had quite a few QS credits left and I converted them to snack credits. Can you still do this and is there any restriction where and how it happens? I want to try and use them during the time we are there rather than just end up with loads on the last day.

We did this a couple of weeks ago when we were there. Not sure if there are any restrictions anywhere but we didn't come across any.

Just to add, we didn't actually convert them to snack credits, just that we used a QS to get 3 snack items. I may have read that you can change them into snack credits at your own resort but have never tried this so unsure of this.

so it's still 3 snacks for the value of a QS credit? It maybe that we use all of the QS credits this time round as the kids are older and likely to eat bigger portions (last time we shared 2 QS meals between the 4 of us).

you can definitely still do this... my friend did it at POFQ yesterday

Yes we did this. You can convert them to 3 snacks but all must be bought in one transaction.
At ghiradellis each snack credit is worth something ($6 ish I think) I think for 2QS and a snack credit we were getting 7 bars of chocolate and a bag of chocs too

Yep we've recently done this - you have to do it at your resort though - you can't do it in the parks.

Has this changed, we were able to do it in the parks last year?

This is done at the time of your purchase , i.e if you pick up three snacks you can ask them to do it as a QS credit instead of three snacks.

You can do this anywhere in Disney (Parks,Disney springs and resort hotel) except the street carts.

Never heard of them actually being converted to use as snacks without being a purchase.

this is why I asked - it was new when I was there in 2016 and could only be done at the hotel you were staying in. Obviously a fair bit of time has passed so I just want to understand if we could say get 3 drinks and use a QS credit when in the park instead of snack credits.
