Trip report - part 1

I know many of you guys look forward to my trip report. So here goes for part one:

Our regular cab driver arrived about 4 minutes late, but I never held that against him.

We arrived at gatwick at about 3.15pm. The hotel receptionist was friendly, and our rooms are nice and fresh.

We booked our cases in to BA for the twilight check in, and the BA check in girl was really helpful and friendly, and our flight is very quiet tomorrow. She even let my family who aren’t in club check in at the club desk, which I believe was a special treat for them (I do my best to keep them happy).

Some of the family are eating dinner at the airport, but me and Mrs MH are just grabbing a sandwich and some treats because we ate lunch out earlier.

We grabbed a costa and the girl serving must have been off the day of the customer care course because she looked like she was given a day to live 23 hours and 59 minutes ago. The costa was however, made to the required standard so no complaints there.

I appreciate its been less than 3 hours since I left home, but I know many of you guys enjoy my trip reports.

I don't read many trip reports Mickey - Joan will no doubt keep me up to date.

Sorry to hear about your experience at Costa though. Just put it behind you and move on. Your villa awaits.

Thanks guys, and Mick is right I need to focus more on the positives and not let the costa lady ruin my holiday.

I'm glad part 1 of 127 parts of my trip report is being enjoyed so far.

As my the request for pictures, I will upload some later.
