Badly fitted window

Builder convinced wife to take off red slate tiles (see next door) which I wouldn't have wanted as original feature all over windows have. Guess cant complain now. And wife said when he finished all looks goog.

I don't think so - I guess I that wood should be covered, and a finish at front where that gap is - not sure what can be done about inside now.

So stressful...appreciate some advice before I go back to builder... I am clueless hence always get ripped off like this

Wow, do they not understand angles and set squares?
The batton under the leading is awefull capilary action when it rains will not only rot that softwood but cause damp. Get them back, even there silicone work is shonky

I’d be onto that fitter first thing this morning that looks a terrible job, the window sills arnt even joined level inside. Was it someone you’d used before or came recommended

Dear God! The window is the wrong size as I can see it straight away.

Give me an hour and I will post a list of all the issues as I can see 7 straight off. Needs ripping out sadly. Have you paid yet? If not don't.

Thanks Tom - much appreciate - I will hold off contacting him - appreciate advice on course of action too if you are in the know.

Lol i had good recommendations as a builder on face book, our workshop was called "cars" i will give you 3 guesses what we fixed😂😂🤣.
Capillary action:- is waters ability to run uphill. So the lead between the roof and facia has badly cut soft wood thats going to rot when the water runs uphill causing damp in the ceiling above your window.
As Tom said the wrong size window, well spotted Tom, you should do this for a living, that will explain the wrong angle.
Tom will explain better my dislexic mess wont make much sence.
