Well finally we have got to our travel day even thou we have known it wasnt going to happen for a few months now. I couldn't bring myself to change my Dibb countdown. All day we are saying we should be at the airport, we should be boarding etc. We are doing grand otherwise and the back garden has been redone with the holiday fund which is good.
Am going to focus now on hopefully going next June and reset my countdown!

We should be in the air now, half way to the canaries but no sat on couch after braving our indoor town centre in this heat, for youngests long over due contact lens and sight test. One happy child as got designer glasses due to contact lend direct debit haha.

We are next week and it’s really hitting me. I found myself sobbing watching Happily Ever After today. I know it’s first world problems but I’m really sad! I miss our happy place!

We would have gone in Tuesday. Yesterday was our wedding anniversary so as we were sat in our garden last night, we were discussing where we would have been having dinner last night and agreed we would have gone to Bahama Breeze. Instead we had an Aldi steak done on the BBQ.

It was also our travel day yesterday ☹️
Should be in Vegas now and from there onto Disneyland, universal, Pismo, Winchester mystery house and then flying to Hawaii.
Haven’t rebooked it for next year as feel it’s too risky just yet .

We should have been celebrating in Miami but we are currently quarantining so it was takeout for us.😀
