My first record player was a Dansette (two tone) , very similar to the that shown...

We had a Dansette in blue,one of the first Christmas presents I can remember.

Had both, teh flip top when at home with my parents. then i had a set where the speakers acted as the lid and could be removed. I also had a vertical player in the 80's and currently have a tower set.

We started off with some thing like the one on the left but ours was blue. Then we modernised and got something like the one on the right.

Had one of those too.

I bought a Sinclair ZX81 as my first computer, my parents bought me this second hand TV to use it on. Took 5 minutes to warm up and could heat a 3 bed house.
