Gas supply running through an adjoining property
Are there any gas engineers on here or maybe building control?
I was painting for someone today and they have the gas supply for the neighbouring property running through their kitchen. It’s not even against the wall. It’s at the front of a kitchen cupboard so you open the door and tah-dah, there it is! The door has a channel cut in it so it will close and the pipe is unsupported and not boxed in at all above the cupboard and the pipe just goes through the ceiling up to a gas box above. I’m really surprised. Is this ok? Just curious really and wanted to know if it’s normal? Surely it should have been moved during conversion? |
