Researching free fizz.

Next month, I'm off to FQ for 2 weeks, and I've upgraded from QS to regular dining plan. I've got ADR's at Flying Fish, Cally Grill, Yachtsman and O'hana. This will be my first time on the new DDP which includes alcoholic drinks. I recently saw on easywdw a menu from Flying Fish, and it looked like you could get a free bottle of prosecco with your meal as a DDP entitlement. Could anyone confirm this at FF or any other TS restaurants? I'm taking early retirement next month, so I plan to do a lot of celebrating...

I went to two of those restaurants a fortnight ago on deluxe dining plan, certainly nobody mentioned a free bottle of prosecco.

Don't know for definite but I find it very hard to believe disney will give a whole bottle of wine on DDP.

Maybe it was a bottle between the table using 4 or 5 diners credits

You can get a small bottle as part of your DDP meal (as the drink). It's one of those that's equivalent of a large glass

My mistake - I just checked the menu at Flying Fish. You can, however, get a free glass of real Champagne each - normally priced at $17. Still a bargain.

As someone said, it was probably a table large enough that the glasses ordered equalled a bottle's worth so they just gave them the bottle. I could see them doing this, it's the same as pooling credits for a serves two/four main or dessert which they have no issue with.

Getting fizz by the glass on DDP won't be a problem though.
