Excited about Disney
|
Here now. We are in a boarding group!
Wow. We have been at HS since 6.10 am. We hit the join virtual queue button dead on 7am and got into boarding group 81. By 7.15 they were onto backup groups (which is groups 88 upwards). Mad!
Also it's very cold 9 degrees! So if you are heading here in the next couple of days there is a cold front til the weekend. Edited at 02:31 PM. Reason: Adding to post |

Could someone please explain how this works. I presume it is Galaxy's Edge? We will be there in a few weeks time and would like to be prepared.

I haven’t done it but I have looked at in on MDE and it looks intuitive. It isn’t for Galaxy’s Edge entry it is for ROTR.
The home page on MDE defaults to ROTR at the moment. When you go through the HS ticket gates at opening time (all your party) you click on “join a boarding group” presumably your party is all linked up so you select all that are with you. Then wait for your boarding time, then go in. You can leave the park whilst you are waiting as it is a long wait. |

Many thanks. Now I know what it is, I can look online for more information. I get the impression that you have to get there early to be sure of getting on the ride.

Currently HS opens early (7am), this stops after 2 Feb. Is this form of queue likely to stop?

They only changed the park opening hours to 7am up to the 2nd Feb yesterday I think. We’re planning to be there on 13th and assuming a 7am opening, even though it’s currently showing a 9am, which I’d much prefer! We’re also assuming they’ll still be doing the boarding groups by then, but keeping a close eye on it all!
