Try booking a table for 6 and turning up as a 5. This is much easier for the restaurant to accommodate than a 4 to a 5. If you can get an ADR for 6pp you can always modify it later if you like.

I’d even say try searching as a party of 8 as that will be a different size table whereas 5 or 6 will be the same.

There is no penalty for having less people than you booked for (other than moral...)

Currently searching for a table of 8 there is a 5.50pm on that day
