Volcano Bay 1st time

Hey everyone,

our trip consists of roughly 5 nights Disney, 10 nights villa and 4 nights RPR.

is volcano bay easy to do without the express passes?

was thinking of going here for a day before we check in to RPR.

Thanks, Jon

We were in VB in August. We simply got in as it opened and had planned in advance where we would head for. We got in all the rides that we wanted with ease.

Top tip. Learn the TAPU wrist band thingy before arrival (simple).

Just make use of the early entry whilst at RPR. You’ll have the express passes for US/IOA, so you don’t need to be at those for opening.
If you use the extra hour in the morning everything will be a walk on for the first 90 mins or so. Plenty of time to get everything done and then have a relaxing time in the rapids and wave pool and Tapu a few more rides, before leaving around lunchtime. That’s what we always do.
