Seaworld Shamu Dining & Show Seating & Quick Queue

We're going to Sea World on Friday 12th April - this will be our first time.

Is the 'Up-Close Dining at Shamu Stadium' worth it? It works out around £70 for 3 of us - I'm not sure how much we'd spend on food there anyway. I love killer whales & wonder how close you get?

And is it worth us getting the reserved show seating & quick queue (again about £70 atg) or is Seaworld not really busy enough to justify paying extra?

Not sure if it's all worth an extra £140, so any advice is welcome 7 appreciated

It's not what it's used to be. You used to get a little training show with the killer whales but now it's with the Belugas and you get to walk into the stadium to see the whales before the show.

We've always enjoyed the food so if you are going to eat, it's a good a places as any with the additional extra of the Belugas.

I wouldn't bother with the seating, we always go in August and have never had an issue with seating.

There was "Dine with Shamu" includes food but also there is "Up close with Killer Whale tour"
We have done both over the years.
The up close one doesn't include food. About 9 in a group with a trainer, took us on a tour and gave lots of information about different aspects of Sea World and Orcas. Went into stadium and one orca came to the side of the tank. With your family members you stand in front of tank trainer teaches you tricks to do with it. At the end it jumps up , we got absolutely drenched
Official photographer took photos of interaction.
Can't remember whether we got free photos with pkg or paid extra? Loved it! (This was 2017 so could have changed)

This has changed again..we done it in December and the pilot whales are in the pool beside the tables when your first go in..but then they do bring the Orcas in and do the presentation in the pool beside the tables.
