April trip -upgrade existing pass to platinum ? Or Uk 14 day ?

Good morning what would your advice be on this
We always go twice a year over April Easter holiday and October half term

Last year in April we bought a 14 day UK pass To last And upgraded it to the Gold pass at MK
This is now running out on April 3 and we got a trip planned in April over Easter

I was wondering is it best to buy another UK 14 day pass and upgrade it at the end to gold ?

or would it be better to renew our existing gold pass as a platinum

When we upgraded our 4 UK passes last year we had a variety of prices from 52 dollars to 160 dollars, And this is put down to find a ticket on Orlando attractions direct, who had then at a discount price from Disney
Hence if I do buy the 14 day ticket I’ll by direct off the Disney Uk website
