Mobile Refillable cups

What does everyone do with their refillable cups?
Do you just use them at your hotel, or do you take them with you every day you go to the park?
If you take them with you, do you take a backpack?
Are you still able to go on rides with a backpack?

Hello and welcome to the DIBB

I think everyone is different, We only use ours at our resort, When we are in the parks we drink the free iced water, Most kiosks and restaurants hand out cups of iced water, Some people take the little juice things to squeeze into the water.

On a lot of the rides you can take a rucksack with you, The rides you cannot take bags on their will be a locker to leave your stuff in next to the ride.

If I recall correctly refillable mugs only function at the resort. Unfortunately I don't think they can be used in the parks. Some people do carry a full mug to the bus stop and may refill it on their way back to the room when they return to their resort.
ETA. I think it may also be possible to use them at an alternative resort eg carry it with you to Epcot and walk through to use the mug at Beach Club but it's not something I have actually done ?

I have occasionally brought a full cup to the park and then it is convenient to refill on the way back to the room. But most times we don't bother because we would prefer not to carry refillable mugs around whilst we are in the parks.

We take our mugs with us as we usually top them up as heading out to the bus or car, and then we tend to pop into a resort early afternoon if we've had enough of the park and get some nice cold drinks.
One of the perks of the mugs is using them in any resort, so you have the Contemporary right by MK or the Epcot resorts etc.
We take a backpack with us and the only downside is going through bag check.

Do the cups seal closed? Can you put a full one in your backpack or can you only carry empty ones around?

They're not properly sealed, you could only carry an empty one in your bag.
