Hearing RotR was booked within 75 seconds of the park opening. Hope Disney are working on another plan..surely you should be able to book in advance so at least you can manage the disappointment and not have to get up at 5am!

Thanks.
Direct from Disney as per my previous post. You just have to switch to the US site and then you get the US ticket options.

I think the key will to have a ticket and make sure it is linked on you MDE, in order to get the boarding group registration process..

I am not sure if one day tickets would be linked without manually doing this on the app, as such you would need to allow time for this if buying on the gate.

Do you have to do anything on MDE once you are in the park apart from press join boarding group , will all 3 of us be automatically linked because the tickets are already linked? Thanks

To increase your chances everyone could log onto the same account and keep trying

I would buy your ticket in advance just incase it takes a while to link to MDE

We are planning on buying a 1 or 2 day pass, can I ask where people bought theirs from?

The park is now open at 8am as of last week so we are doing a 6am wake-up! That said, we have already tried two days and not yet been successful! It’s so stressful and disappointing. We’re trying again tomorrow and have one other possible day pencilled in 🤞

I am worried about being slowed down, that is why I hoped the ticket office would open early.
We bought our 1 day tickets for July last month so can definitely be bought in advance. We bought direct from Disney and linked to our MDE account straight away. If you can’t get on the US site and wait until you are already over there to get tickets then before the day you are looking to visit you could buy in advance, there’s a Disney ticket outlet at Disney Springs so you wouldn’t need to visit a park entrance to do this. You would then have it set up and ready to go when for you arrive at HS.

Direct from Disney US site, it does seem to be getting harder to "override" the automatic UK site but with a bit of perseverance you can get it done. Disney UK did do a 2 day limited pass last year but it had to be used by a certain time & was no good for us in Oct.
