Hi all, I am after some advice...

After considering going to new York for a week... then changing our minds and looking at Lanzarote for 2 weeks in April... the prices are stupid expensive and for the same price we can go back to Florida.

we have been twice before and always booked with Tui and stayed onsite with all tickets... this time we are considering doing different as we are planning doing Disney August 2021.
We are considering the 3 park ticket for BG, DC seaworld and aquatics... not sure which hotels are nearby and would that be enough to keep us busy?

Cant help with hotels as we always stay in a villa. We did 10 days last year and only did DC, Busch, Aquatica and Seaworld and it was plenty for us, along with a shopping day and a day in the villa. My girls were very happy just to be out there

My boys are 7 & 10 so I’m sure will love it... I’m wondering if it will be hard to be there and not go and see Star Wars! As we went in May and was too early! 🥺
Where do you look for flights ?

If you were happy to go to lanzarote for 2 weeks where there isnt much to do though it is lovely the the parks you have said will be plenty.
Add in a little shopping and relaxing pool days
BG will depend on your children and whether they will like the rides as much bigger than Disney. SeaWorld has lots of great rides and shows.
Aquatics has good reviews and DC is a relaxing day.
There are plenty of other things to do, anything gator related would be good.
You can also visit the Disney resorts and springs

Thanks lizzy145... I’ve been checking flights all afternoon and they are so expensive flying on 4.4.20!

I must admit Id love to go back to Disney as we havent been since 2015 but wont be doing it when we go next year just doing Universal and maybe Dc & busch/aquatica.

My girls were 8 & 12 when we went last and both love Busch even though there isnt a huge amount for the youngest she still loved it and wants to go back the safari to feed the Giraffes is worth the extra pennies.

For flights I look on skyscanner then also look on individual websites such as BA, Delta, Norweigan, Tui.

Im not having much look so far for my October dates though

Hilton Grand Vacations at SeaWorld is an incredible hotel. You can walk to Discovery Cove and SeaWorld, there is iRide trolley stop outside of it (or has free parking if you are driving) so you can very easily get around to other places, it’s a partner hotel for SeaWorld too so I think you get SeaWorld perks. I really loved it there, and would stay again but neither BA or Virgin have this as one of the hotels for their packages

The direct Easter holiday flights (4-18th April) have been mega expensive since the day they were released and have not changed. We are travelling for those 2 weeks and are flying into Miami and others in our party are flying indirect via JFK/ Toronto to keep costs down x

Thankyou everyone, I will keep checking these flights... I’m shocked that hotels on idrive are similar prices to moderate Disney hotels... I’m guessing it’s the flights prices causing this... we wasn’t even planning to go next year but the price of Spain is ridiculous, id rather go west for the same price !
