3-park, 5-day Universal Orlando ticket

Just wondering why on every US website the above ticket option expires on 22nd May 2020?

I'm going in October 2020 from the UK and find this ticket cheaper than the 3-park explorer ticket that is available to us Brits. I get that the explorer ticket offers 14 days entry but we are only going for 5 days anyway so the US 3-P / 5-D option is perfect.

They can't be planning a price hike after this date as other tickets are available all year round.

I guess it’s possible they may be discontinuing the 3P/5D ticket? It does seem odd though.

I think that's the promotional offer ticket, you can also buy the non-promotional ticket. I have put the different tickets below, taken from the undercovertourist site. I have shown the Park to Park ticket but the same applies to the Base ticket which is cheaper, although you can't ride the Hogwarts Express or park hop with the Base ticket.

Universal 5-Day Park-to-Park Ticket + 3rd Park FREE (PROMO) $322.95. It says the following.

Ticket expires in full on May 22, 2020.

Whereas the Universal 5-Day Park to Park Ticket with Volcano Bay Water Theme Park costs $386.95, and it says the following.

Ticket expires 12 months from order date or 6 days after first use (so 7 calendar days).

it won't be a price hike, it will be the end of a promo/deal

as lyn said, you can get the other tickets all year round, at full price.

It's like disney's free dining, when it ends it ends, it's not a "price hike" even if, when free dining is ended you need to pay for your meals and hence pay more for the same thing ... (even though full price free dining is avalaible all year round)

hope you see why the piece I quoted does not seem to make much sense.
