Making Mickey Ears
Hi All
Anyone that's made Mickey ears, what do you put inside to make them sturdy? I've seen a couple of tutorial on YouTube but they're from the USA and recommend 5mm foam which is rolled up and put inside but I can't seem to find it here! This is my first attempt, the glitter material kept laddering so I've gone for some fabric this time but not sure how to stuff them Thanks! |

Those are so cute! Unfortunately I can't help with the stuffing as we did wire ones...

Stiff cardboard and cotton wool balls, slightly stretched out to make them flatter.

I haven't actually gotten around to trying to make mine yet, but I bought some 6mm foam from a website easyfoam.co.uk. Looks ok but I am wondering whether I should have gone for a slightly denser version. They had a whole range.

The tutorial my dd found suggested foam board so it has a card/paper coating on. I'm planning to use that for the middle then some wadding (the type you use for making quilts) either side to give the soft puff effect
