mobility issues advice wanted
Hi Everyone,
≈ I am after some advice regarding getting around Disney whilst disabled, we are going next july as a group of 9 and staying in a villa for 3 weeks. My wife has fibromyalgia as well as osteoarthritis and will likely find the distances she will need to walk a struggle, what options are there either within the parks or any external companies that you can rent mobility scooters from to use whilst there, thanks in advance |

I have Fibro and honestly find it much easier in Florida as cold and damp set me off
I've had holidays while recovering from a flare used a wheel chair but was unable to self propel it's just too much to,expect a pRty member to push you in heat A scooter is the way to go if hiring get one withna canopy for July keeps the sun off allows you to drape a poncho over in th rain etc I usecRands mobility they deliver to villas pick up and can access the parks in the event of a break down Fibro specific hydration hydration is the key good sun screen Plan an early start day early finish followed buy late start Then a pool day may be shopping eating out I'd say one large car and defiantly a small car for you to leave the parks if need be And getba temp Florida parking permit if you have a blue badge here And I can't stress enough assistance at the airport that sometimes Two Hour plus que at the airport after a long flight used to bring me to my knees before we had global entry |

I gave Charcot fort and arthritis in my hip so cannot walk distances.
I rent a powered wheelchair, these are available from quite a few rental companies Ones I have used are Walker mobility Buena vista rentals
