The Lion King in IMAX!

Splashed out to go and see the Lion King in IMAX at the weekend. Worth every penny and for some reason the opening sequence brought a tear to my eye very odd for a grown man!

Interesting that the film has had mixed reviews. I think the best advice is to try and put the original to one side and just soak up the new one. Having said that it was a bit odd to watch a new movie when you know what’s going to happen. Spoiler alert it does not end well for Mustafa...

Anyway not long until we will be able to see the Legend of The Lion King at AK. Can’t wait.

We saw it on an "Impact" screen at our local cinema, which is basically a massive screen not far off Imax size.

Was well worth the extra couple of £! We were fairly near the front (couldn't get recliner seats which I normally do), but actually being closer made it really immersive, and the visuals in that film are incredible!
