No Carbs before Marbs?! Day Seven - Mijas and Massala

I made a lovely full English breakfast this morning, Harry stayed in bed, again, but I saved some sausages for later for him when he decides to bless us with an appearance 😂 We decided to go to Mijas, we tried to persuade Harry to get up and come with us, but he wasnt having any of it, so we reluctantly went without him. Mijas is a lovely quaint spanish town, up in the hills behind Marbella, the roads were really steep and bendy but I managed to keep my driving anxiety in, am definitely getting better as the week goes on. The views once we had parked were breath taking. Photos dont do it justice.

They have a lot of donkey rides, and horse and carriage rides offered here, I dont agree with it, and felt really sorry for them working in the heat.
I did have a little chat and gently patted a couple of them.

We walked around for a bit, and stopped for coffee in a little english cafe called the lemon tree. It was soooo hot today, we almost couldnt bear it. George had a huuuuuge piece of chocolate cake.

After coffee I had a mooch in a couple of the little souvenir shops, I love seeing the spanish dresses, it reminds me of holidays when I was younger, at the campsites here in Spain. I always wanted one!

We needed to get out of the heat, so went back to the villa to cool down in the pool. Harry was finally up, and we had a good game of pool basketball all together.

Tonight we went back down to Puerto Banus, but this time for an Indian meal. Some SPICE! Yum.

No photos of Harry, sorry, he just wont let me take any at all. The food was delicious, and while we were finishing our meal, a lady on the table next to us proposed to her partner, using flash cards, to a song, it was very sweet. Afterwards we took a photo for them, and he said they had been together 13 years, and have a daughter together. When I joked that they still wanted to get married after so long, he said every day for them is like the first day they met (bleurgh pass the sick bag)! I did wonder why she was proposing to him, not the other way around but each to their own! 😂

We got ice creams, and walked along the marina, its like posers paradise down here, almost like a theme park of sorts!

I saw my little doggy friend again wearing her pearls! So cute. She was attracting a lot of attention like a little super star, but she was left in the car unattended

I had a bit of a shoe disaster on the way back to the car park, I have had these shoes for a good few years, and am hoping they can be repaired!

No Love Island final for me tonight, am going to catch up tomorrow, in between packing, cleaning and also hoping to visit the beach, one more time for our final day. Goodnight dibbers!
