Avis Preferred
We are travelling in November and have booked Avis car hire through BA.
I have registered DH on the Avis website as he will be the main driver (I understand that we can go straight to the garage at Tampa?) I also want to drive, so do I need to register as well? TIA |

Yes you can go straight to the garage but as is your first booking you will still have to go to the desk in the garage to let them check your licence and credit card, they will then hand you the keys and tell where your allocated vehicle is parked. As for you driving too, I’m sure that spouse is automatically included and covered with BA/Avis bookings so you don’t need to register on Avis preferred as well.

You don't need to register and you don't need to show your license, with Avis the renters spouse or significant other can drive without advising them.
