I will be price led but probably Hertz or Dollar. I have joined the Hertz Gold program and am monitoring for May 2020 already.

I suspect that if I use an Amex code they will be the cheapest.

Thanks 😀
I always book an Intermediate SUV as I drive a Toyota Rav4 at home. We are a family of three though ... I always find the intermediates in the US are bigger than my Rav4 so never have any problem with luggage. If I can fit my luggage in my own car between home and Gatwick I can fit luggage in from MCO to my condo in Florida Husband always seems to steer me to the Standard ones though (parked in the intermediate rows at times) but I always find them way too big for me... I admit I never look at millage, I just look at the state of the paint and the body of the car, look if I like the inside and if I sit in it comfortably ... maybe I need to start looking at millage and number plates ... Mr Tom Morrow, what makes a good intermediate car choice to you? What should I be looking out for?

Firstly I like your analogy ref the car at home and luggage and the car over there. Good speech.

Sadly I can't help on Intermediates as I don't hire them. However we had a Mazda CX5 in March that sits in both the Intermediate and Standard classes, basically a flip flop model and it can be in either row.

What a lovely car and loads of gadgets. Plus full leather which I insist on, cannot abide cloth.

Arrived last night the standard SUV line didn’t impress at all
But I had a full size car booked that was even more unimpressive
Chevy Malibu or Chevy Malibu
It is new and has a sat nav but that’s it
Wasn’t going to pay for an upgrade to a sVU at $50 a day here for 32
Days

With regards to poor availability of std-size SUV's, is this happening in both garages, MCO A & B?

This thread is about STD SUV’s, don’t think there’s a problem with Full Size.

We didn’t have a lot of choice for a full size SUV. Voluntarily waited for a Tahoe.

I just love the Tahoe - here's hoping for one, this day month

DH loves driving the Tahoe. We politely asked if one was available and said we were willing to wait.

Yup, I did mean to type standard when I posted but the translation from brain to fingertips was all too much for me apparently!
Edited my post,
