Yep, I know what you mean. I took DD to the DLP character audition in Dublin a few months ago. They looked round the room, picked out the boys and maybe three girls and said thanks but no thanks to the rest. She cried her eyes out! It was soul destroying to not even be given a chance.

My DD has her interview on the 24th but we are in WDW at the moment so need to think how to get there etc later 😁

Be well turned out - if you have something Disney to wear, eg earrings- wear them. As a pp said, think about what’s great from where you’re living, places to visit and best local produce/typical dishes. They used to ask things like “If you were a Disney character, who would you be and why?” Try to think of a more obscure one. Be smily and make direct eye contact with the interviewer. Even something as simple as saying good morning when you first come in to the room causes a big impression. Sit up in the chair, don’t slouch or cross arms. I hope this helps and your DD has a fun experience.
