Cancel then rebook on-site

I have canceled my room at Pop as wanted to upgrade to deluxe resort however on the phone I couldn’t get the price I was seeing online (due to current discount online of 15%). I’m aware I’ll get charged £100 to cancel but the discount makes it worthwhile.

I sent an email to cancel today but wondered if I have to wait until confirmation of cancellation of Pop room before I can book a deluxe resort?
Anyone know?

I’d wait for confirmation if you have the time too! You could always ring in a few days to confirm... better safe than sorry!

Who have you booked with? If you’re satisfied that you are able to cancel I’d just go ahead and book the new resort.

Never mind, I’ve just looked at the website. I don’t remember them doing this before. They must not have had the sales they expected.

I got 15% off room for December. Seems to be on all resorts where there’s availability.
