It's amazing how often private hire is overlooked .
For us when there are three of us a private hire MERC is cheaper than both train and minicab and even better when it means we also save on getting a hotel at Gatwick the night before. Usually it's cheaper than hotel and parking too unless I can get the travelodge at £29. |

Private hire is probably easiest.
Nobody mentioned my favourite route from Euston to Heathrow though. Walk out of the station and 10 minutes up the road to Kings Cross. It is a straight road, all on the flat, very easy and quick. You can get lifts all the way down to the Piccadilly Line platform and the tube is often really quiet there so easy to get a seat. Done it with luggage loads of times.

I would echo what some of the previous posters have said, avoid the tube unless you want a long, hot & sticky journey.
Depending on when you get your tickets the Heathrow Express can be expensive i.e. circa £100 for the four of you one way, but it is a great way to get to the airport, with four of you though, you'd probably be cheaper with a taxi, Uber or Addison Lee car.

I'm doing this and decided to use Addison Lee. There is an £8 code for first time users and plus I get £10 statement credit per month with Amex so it'll only be around £30 for a Ford Galaxy size for 4 people and 4 cases.
