Ordering From Apple US (student/teacher)

Does anyone have experience ordering from US Apple using student/education discount?

Looking to pickup from Apple store but not sure if any issues using UK student or teacher details (wife is a teacher so eligible in UK and I have a student card).

My DD did this successfully last Sept. Ordered online with student discount to collect at Apple Mall at Millennia. They asked to see ID for pickup but nothing student related.

OK thanks. T&Cs seemed to read as being for US only and they may claw back / invoice money difference if they feel not eligible. I/we would be based on student/teacher status but not from a US perspective.

Did your DD buy whilst the free headphones offer was on?

I tried to do this last year in apple at Mall@Millenia for the ipad/free headphones offer and was told it was only for US teacher/students only. They were quite insistent.
