Gluten-Free Dessert Party?
Thinking of doing the Star Wars dessert party in January but one of our group has a genuine gluten intolerance. Would it be worth it? Obviously she doesn’t just want fruit or one or two bits. I’m finding it really hard to find out specific information about this event. Thanks in advance x

Never done the Star Wars one but I did HEA desert party GF in April. It was great I had a whole plate of stuff, more than I could have managed. Tying to remember now but There was some sort of loaf cake, jelly sweets, choc covered strawberry, pineapple mousse, some mini cupcakes, a cookie and popcorn.

That sounds pretty good! Just wondering what HEA means though? x

HEA is Happily Ever After, the fireworks/castle projection show at Magic Kingdom.
Disney are really good at accommodating different dietary needs. If you let them know ahead of the dessert party, they will ensure that there are special allergy free foods available for you, so you’re not just having to eat from a very limited selection of what they usually provide.

I have seen some not great things about some of the desert parties and allergies (people being given a prepacked thing and fruit and that was it etc) on the Disney allergy Facebook group but I can't remember which ones and what allergies sorry. If your on facebook might be worth joining to ask.

one of our group is coeliac - this was a plate brought out for them at the terrace HEA desert party (so not quite star wars but assume it would be a similar plate but themed differently) - they were able to ask for more of whatever they wanted

I am a coeliac and I’ve just booked the frozen dessert party - I’m hoping I get some gluten free treats and not just fruit!
