Who's braving GE on opening day ?

I,ll take crazy! Never been to a land opening before so determined to go but interested to see if there is a more organised system than Pandora and Toy Story was, Hope they have learned something from them.
Also hope they don’t go for the look how busy and popular this is with long long lines for everything a la Hagrid’s!

My DS (he's 21) really wants to do opening day as we also leave on the 31st. That may change though if I tell him he needs to get there for 4am!

Also, I'm the driver, and I'll be very surprised if I can be bothered to get up at stupid o'clock to drive him there.

However, this is probably the final time for all of us going together to Disney, maybe the last ever time I/ we'll go. So maybe?

We are planning to go. DS is desperate to get a lightsaber, I’ve warned him it may not happen. I have booked a breakfast dining reservation to increase our chances of being allowed in. I know there are no guarantees, but we can always bail out and go somewhere else if need be. It’s our last day, so if we don’t try we’ll have to wait a year.

I'll be at Disney 16th to 26th Sept and am planning on going to HS but not GE as I can't stand Star Wars. Hopefully the rest of the park will be a bit quieter.

We will be there during the opening date. Eva (11) wants to get up and go at the crack of uncivilised hour. I absolutely don’t want to as it is also opening day of food & wine. So what we are planning to do is to do food and wine on the 29th then get up early on the 30th and get there a couple of hours before it opens. I’ve got 3 fast passes from 6.30am and a reservation for breakfast at Hollywood and slime. Oh and then Halloween party ... that’s going to be a long old day before flying home on 31st.
