DFCH - gold or platinum alamo?

We normally hire through alamo brits, but DFCH is coming out so much cheaper.

To get like for like with what we normally get from brits what level do I need to book?

Also it says no deposit needed but surely it’s paid in full when booking? Or do they also offer the same pay on arrival as alamo? If so is the price locked in in £?

I assume they offer the same service of refunds if the price drops?

Any and all advice greatfully received

We have platinum insurance which gives us 4 drivers and a full tank of petrol, you can reserve the booking and pay 10 weeks before, and they do offer the same service when the price drops,we have found them great really helpful!

actually, platinum does not refer to insurance.
it's just additional drivers and tank of fuel

there is no difference in insurance coverage between the Gold and the Platinum option on DFCH

confusion comes from the fact that some other providers like virgin, will quote platinum cover.

that's not the case here

the insurace provided by Brits (CDW and SLI/EP) are the same that are provided by both Gold and Platinum with DFCH

We have just used DFCH with Alamo. Everything is locked in at the price you book at and if the price drops just drop him an email and he will drop your balance to that price - very helpful. As PP says the extra is just for tank fuel and extra drivers.

If its showing at a good price I would get it booked. Fogot to say, we checked in online and went straight to the garage - no issues

Thanks for the correction,I did mean platinum level, as in drivers and petrol!
