BA/Avis Class K (Mustang Convertible) - Vehicle Expectations

We’ve just upgraded our car for our upcoming trip in November to a Class K - Mustang Convertible (or similar).

Has anyone had experience in booking this class? Looking at the Avis website there are 4 cars in the class and 2 of them would be really good (Mustang or Camaro) and 2 not so much.

We have Avis Preferred so should have an option when we arrive anyway, but just wondered what our chances are of getting one of the preferred models.

It will very much depend on when you arrive and how busy they are, so you won’t really know til you arrive, from memory in May when we were last there , there was lots of camaro’s and a couple of mustangs.
With Avis preferred your car will be allocated to you and your name on the board, unless this is your first time using Avis preferred and you will need to go to the kiosk to get things sorted) you can ask to swap for another car in your category or below if your not happy with what they have given you but again it will depend on availability of cars when you arrive

Thanks for your reply. Sounds like there should be plenty of choice. It is our first time using Avis Preferred, so will need to go to the kiosk first anyway.
