I think you have to tap in for rides (even in standby queue) during the EMH.

It is still nice to be able to walk back in the evening.

We did evening ones at MK, we just aren't morning people, even first week we need the alarm set. MK at night is lovely, we rode 7 DMT 4 times in a row walking straight on at Easter, we only stopped so I could drag the kids to a different ride!

Correct, there are no FP available during EMH.
