Road changes in Disney
Here now and I'm finding the sat nav we got from Alamo isn't up to date with the new road layouts in Disney.
There is a new ramp system to get to Hollywood Studios and this is confusing the satnav (and me the first few times). |

If it’s the garmin portable ones they hand out then ditch it right away. I tried to use it leaving airport only due to a few people in front of me at barrier so I set it up. Anyhow within 5 mins it wasn’t recognised a lot of new roads that have been installed over the last 4 years around the airport and then it really go confused when I got near our resort which again is 3 years old. I did lend it to family for universal and didn’t see any of the volcano Bay Area etc. I’m the end I used google maps and I found a way in connecting to the car and it came throug the speaker. My brother in-law spent a couple of $’S on a phone cradle to sit in is windscreen so he didn’t have to use the rental sat nav.

OP. We are out there a lot. The ramp into DHS is easy if you are coming past Pop and AoA, just bear to the right. However when you exit the Park it is confusing and they haven't done a great job on the direction signs I must say.

I was initially trying to get to Pop Century, coming from the Sherberth Rd direction. The satnav wanted me to take a left at a set of lights that aren't there anymore.
Any other new roads I should be aware of? Anything around Universal, coco beach or returning to the airport? |

We switch off the Sat Nav as soon as we are on Disney property as the sign posts are pretty good imho.

We're finding that even Google maps isn't up to date. We're following the sat nav so far and then just following signs... No problems so far, apart from finding the Polynesian to watch the fireworks which was tricky.

We’ve had an awful sat nav this time. We had a great garmin one last October, never went wrong. A garmin one again this time and we’ve ended up at numerous dead ends, tried to take us into gated communities, and into disney service entrances. .
