What evidence for DAS card

My disabilities are "hidden" but I don't need a blue badge so don't really have any "proof" that I have problems.

What do I need

You don't need any proof, however I did take hospital and diagnosis letters with me just to be sure but no one asked to see them. I explained my disability and what it limits me to do etc and they issued the DAS.

You need to show proof at DLP...they accept DWP award letters.

In the US they aren't technically allowed to ask what your disability is as such as they tend to just ask you to explain why you need the card. I am partially sighted and nightblind so for certain rides like Living Seas for example the queuing area is actually a bit too dark for me to be able to navigate so I always get the card put on my band for this and then explain to the people at the queue area I need to go through the back entrance. They are really good about it.

They are not allowed to ask for proof. You need to explain why you cannot queue in line.
