tax free weekend aug
just saw on fb that aug 2nd 3rd and 4th are sales tax free.
this includes clothes wallets and bags with a sales tax of $60 or less. hope this helps someone |

Sales tax is only 6.5% to 7.5%, depending on which county you are in, which is a lot less than our 20% VAT, so the savings by being tax free are not all that great really, although any discount helps a bit. Also, note that shops in theme parks and airports are not included (it is aimed more at locals).
