I've just added it to my plan so I can use my data and mins in the USA. I'm now on the red entertainment plan that covers the USA. It's costing me an extra £4 a month on my sim only plan.

This is old news - It has been the case for 12 months now- I updated the roaming pages on here last August
I need to have a look again but Vodafone is now the only real option if you want to use your phone like you do at home https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/Usi...USA-p-427.html

I’m with Vodafone but at £6/day is not an option for me when travelling. I’ve used a 3 sim and it’s worked very well.

Are you eligible to upgrade... that’s your option. Their cheapest sim only deal is £23 a month and everything is unlimited

If you’re in contract the only way to uograde is if you choose a more expensive plan than the one you’re on. Like any service, they won’t move you to one where you’ll pay less if you’re still in contract

I used to have a three contract, sure they are cheap but I would never recommend it, flaky coverage in the UK and data throttled to speed of an eighties modem in the US. I have Voda and EE and use Ee in the states lightning fast 4g I guess you get what you pay for but three was unusable even for traffic on google maps !
