I would say Teppan Edo. Best TS in Disney IMO. Great interaction with the chef. Homecomin' was really good, grown up kids food (fried chicken). House of Blues - food wasn't as good as I hoped but the music was good. Trail's End was good food, not crazy money OOP and a very different vibe to the usual Disney places.
To quote Bedknobs and Broomsticks your boys (similar to ours) are at 'the age of not believing'. They may be mortified by the thought of character interaction, but they may love it. Our eldest is 11 (10 when we went for the first time). He's desperate to be cool, but we had Chef Mickey's brunch on our first morning. When Mickey came round he got up and gave him a massive hug. It still melts my heart now. The character meets were great for the rest of the holiday. It's really hard at this age to know if they want to be grown up and go to cool places or whether they'll jump in to the spirit of the place. |
