The Pezzer Duo All Of The Food Photos...day 6 Part 2 Yachtsman steakhouse
 After loading around the pool the rains hit so Eva went inside to make a tie dye tee shirt to kill a bit of time before getting ready to head to Yacht Club for tea. We have eaten here twice before and it's always been excellent. Tonight didn't disappoint it was excellent as always.  We were served some delicious onion rolls and crusty bread with real butter and roasted garlic. I didn't get near it as Eva loves the garlic spread on the bread and ate all of it  Next up was starters ... cheese board for me ... all were lovely ..it would be better served with Jacobs crackers but I guess we ain't in Manchester so bread it was.   Eva had chicken noodle soup off the kids menu which she finished - she insisted on being photographer to show you the Mickey shaped pasta.  Filet steaks and mash with red wine sauce all round. Cooked medium rare you could have cut it with the butter knife. This is a close call for steak of the week with M. Paul ... I think Paul edges it but it's close. The service was great ... they replaced my wine for free when I clumsily knocked it over which they didn't need to do especially as it was nearly empty ...  Pudding up next ... Eva said she was too full but I wanted crepe brûlée. It came with berries and it was proper yum. Yachtsman is a signature restaurant so requires 2 dining credits. This remains one of our fave places on site. The steak is really good. They also do a top lobster bisque here but I fancied a change and didn't regret the cheese.  In the uber on the way back Eva's cunning plan became clear. It is highly unlike her to have no pudding ... however they do a mean I reckon cream sandwich back at Riverside Mill ... 1 snack credit ...  It was enormous ... Tomorrow is Hollywood and Vine breakfast and back to BOG followed by Disney After Hours ...

One of our favourites! I'm with Eva - DH doesn't get a look in at the garlic (luckily he doesn't really like it).

The Mickey shaped pasta in the chicken noodle soup is a nice touch. Yachtsman looks delicious as always.
I like Eva and her cunning plans, she has learnt young that you must always plan your next food fix and must make the most of DxDP, good job young Padawan! |
