Had you finished the renovation before the fire? How soul destroying that you put all that effort in for a fire to then ruin all the hard work. 😩

Yes pretty much ...the garden still needed completing but the house was complete...we started at the end of 2013 and thanks to all sorts of issues we kept having to have work done e.g having the rendering re-done because it was defective.
This thread was primarily to show re-renovation lol but thought it might be good to show what it was before lol . I always meant to make a photo book to as a keepsake lol but this is a good way to see what we had achieved.
It is a little soul destroying my friends turned around and said at least you get new decoration but tbh it is a hassle having to make more decision (I am not the best at this) and it was all relatively new anyway

Wall is taken down in the main bedroom so a sturdy one can be rebuilt.


The roof needs replacing
