They have outlet stores (there definitely one in Bridgend and Street) where they are reduced and every now and again they have offers where every mattress they have is £999 including delivery. Not sure if there is an outlet store near you|?

We got a Tempur and also two cheaper ones. To be honest can't tell the difference between them.

We don't have one here but there is an outlet in Swindon where we used to live, didn't think of that! Thanks!

Which brands are the two cheaper ones?

Copied this from a post I did earlier, hope it helps. BTW a lot of my lady friends have a problem with the heat of Tempur, although I personally haven't tried it! Tempur came out after the Dunlopillo one which is why we had a Dunlopillo one to start with, well that and the fact that our previous bed - good make but can't remember what it was - decided it didn't like us anymore and stabbed both of us with the springs after only about 6 years!

We used to have a latex Dunlopillo and when that finally bit the dust (25 year guarantee)we didn't want to spend what the same replacement would cost. We did some investigating and further to reading and watching reviews on Youtube we went for one called the Leesa, it was a quite a bit cheaper. We also looked at Eve, Simba and Casper but didn't want a hybrid. 15 months on we were still very pleased with it so we bought ones for dd and ds beds, and both of them love them!

I do find it very hot, but not as hot as a full Tempur. My DH doesn't notice the heat.
I've seen a lot of these hybrids advertising on facebook, but they all claim to be the best and you can't try them in person! So its confusing!

We bought 2 spring mattresses with memory foam tops from JL for our spare beds. They don't need turning and people who have stayed say they are comfy, maybe you have similar.

That is why we liked the non hybrid ones as nearly all have a 100 day trial so you can return them. We haven't as we liked the mattress, but reviews say it is easy to do. Ours seem to do everything the Tempur says it does except clean out your bank account!

We have one that is sprung but has a thick Tempur topping, we’ve had it 3 years now. We did the same as you went to Dreams tried then all & found “the one” then looked at the price 2.5K 😳
Spent the next few hours justifying how little it works out per year really 🤣

I then check on eBay & found that a company was selling one for £900, it was the exact matteress & a genuine reason for sale.

We love it, knowing now how comfortable it is I would happily pay 2.5K for it. It’s one of the best things we have ever purchased!
