Bumping again in case anybody has any other thoughts.

Everything I read keep suggesting I need to get booking. It just seems so odd to be doing the whole ADR thing in Europe.

Some of the places I have approached require FB which I don't have, or say no given party size. Frustrating.

Thoughts on jolly sailor anyone?

Or any monte gordo or nearby ones. We will now have a car.

Just bumping again. Have sent loads of emails off and managed to get three places booked. Lots said they were fully booked already. Seems mad to me !

No recommendations but we were surprised on our recent trip to Croatia, especially in Split, that many restaurants needed booking in advance. We always found good places without reservations though.

Possibly easier in September as it will be less busy. Our trip was mid-June so not high season either but I think it would be difficult in July/August. We are hoping to get our Trogir day (I am right in thinking you are staying in Trogir?) written on our trip report this week before we head off to Vietnam

Yes. Trogir, only there for a 4/5 nights so a quick trip. But aiming to get to Split so following along on your trippie!

We loved Trogir, hope you have a good time. Definitely worth catching the bus into Split while you are there, it only takes half an hour or so and it’s very cheap. I’m pleased you are enjoying our trip report, it’s fun to write and quite different from writing a Disney report so quite a challenge 😃
