Emails on iPhone

Is there anyway of keeping my emails in the app. At the moment anything older than a week disappears and I have to keep logging on to my hotmail in safari which is really annoying.
I don’t see anything in settings to change it so don’t know if I’m missing anything

Settings
Passwords and accounts
Select your e-mail account
Change mail days to sync to unlimited

I was going to setting and clicking on mail and that’s why I couldn’t find anything lol

I have no idea why Apple didn’t put that in the mail settings. Glad to works for you 👍
