Mobile DAS card from guest services at Disney Springs?

My son is profoundly Autistic. We always get a DAS card with no issues from MK on our first day.

This time though, we want to go to Galaxy's edge on our first day. Wide awake etc.

The issue is that if we get there for rope drop, any advantage of being there early will be lost because we need to get a DAS card from Hollywood Studios GS.

Can you get a DAS organised at the help offices at Disney Springs?

We asked last time we went and we were told that you had to get DAS card from one of the theme parks, so unless things have changed since then (prob about 3 years since we went), it might be worth re-jigging your days so that you can get the DAS in your hand before your Galaxy's Edge day...

I will confirm that DAS can only be obtained inside the parks.

It was never issued at Disney Springs (or even when it was called downtown disney)

They used to issue DAS at the guest relations right outside the parks, but for the last couple of years I've found it very difficult to get.
2 years ago, I was told that policy no longer allowed guest relations outside the gates to issue DAS, but the CastMember eventually did.
then last year, I tried MK, and was given the same speech (even though the CM issued it again) and on the second trip of the year, I eventually had to go inside.

so , in my experience, and as the other poster advised, try to rework your plans so you can get DAS inside a park before the day you're really gonna need it.
