International Drive Hotels...

We've booked a villa for 11 nights next year and for the last 4 nights are looking to either rent DVC points or stay in a hotel on Intn'l drive, perhaps up at the Seaworld end (if there is anything to do up there?). We've not stayed on International Drive for about 8 years so not really sure what it's like now. Could anyone give me some hotel ideas?

There are 2ad and 2ch (aged 17 and 11). We'll be going mid-July if that makes any difference? We will have a car too.

TIA

We always stay at Rosen Inn International, it’s good cheap hotel but no internal corridors, might put some off, but it’s clean & tidy, fab location, don’t need to drive to go to dinner or breakfast. This end of International Drive does start to look like the Golden Mile at Blackpool but
Denny’s IHOP Chili’s nearby 🙌 & Walgreens too
Do have a look at Instant street view & see what you think, what we save on hotels we spend in the Outlets
Whoops 😳just re read your post you want near Seaworld, this is a bit too far

Any of the Rosen property on I Drive. They have 3 star upto 5 star. Value for money and great service. Rosen at Pointe may be the best, over the road from Millers and other restaurants and cinema has 2 pools and has a on site Starbucks.

Rosen has a number of hotels, I really like them. Harris Rosen used to work for Disney and runs them the way Disney used to be run.

We stayed at the Doubletree at Seaworld in the tower. We got free quick queue from the concierge if you’re thinking of going to the park too. 😊

There was a Denny’s, IHOP, Red Lobster and McDonalds within a five min walk, then we just hopped on the itrolley elsewhere!

Rosen is a fantastic company. They really look after their employees AND the community. Loads of charitable projects. They even self fund their own health care service for their employees and families at minimal cost. A great company to support and I have only ever seen positive reviews as well. Disney actually fired him after helping set up their first hotels in the 70's because he was never going to fit the corporate mold!

We love the Rosen Plaza which is just across the road from Pointe Orlando. It’s nice and quiet at this end of International Drive and yet an easy walk to the Olive Garden.

My favourite hotel on Int Drive.

OP - is one room going to be ok for all 4 of you or would you prefer a “suite” ?
