Mobile Travelling around Florida

Where else would be good to visit in Florida. Say you do one week in Disney then have two week left where would be good.

Hubby wants to do Florida keys down to key west but don’t wanna just drive all way for few day but maybe make more of a road trip. This will probably be for in the future though as it seems like a lot of planning

There are so many places that will give you different experiences. We love the gulf coast, the pan handle is interesting. The east coast around the space centre is a good visit particularly if you can do a rocket launch.

Above Miami, Lauderdale by the sea is interesting. I like the Coconut Grove area of Miami.

We love the keys, fascinating. Key west is very different from our first visit 30 years ago but still worth a visit. Have you considered flying from MCO or TPA down to the keys. Fascinating views from above.
Make sure you take a seaplane outto the Dry Tortugas.

It's a long way down to Key West, especially if your flight home is from Orlando! If I was going to do it, I would want to fly home from Miami.
Cape Coral, Naples, Sanibel, Fort Myers, Englewood, Rotunda, Port Charlotte are all places we've stayed and would again.

As Thatdavieguy says Clearwater, Anna Maria St Petes are beautiful we love Bradenton/Holmes beaches lots of things to do in the area as well. Naples is gorgeous as in Sanibel and Captiva wherever you go enjoy

We loved St Augustine. Lots of history. Then drove across to Panama City, down to Seaside, Clearwater and Naples. We had booked a fly drive, we hadn't booked any accommodation, but never had a problem finding a place to stay. Just did walk ups and got good rates each night.

If you had an extra 2 weeks after Orlando you could easily spend time on the gulf coast before heading to the Keys. I'd recommend flying home from Miami though.

We not long came back from the Gulf Coast and the Keys, I posted a little review in a previous thread
