Mobile Driving directions from Sanford

I know this has probably been asked a million times, but can someone help me out with driving directions from Sanford to Disney? Many thanks xx

google/maps/dir/28.7...!4e1!3e0?hl=en

basically, drive out of the airport, turn right. at the 417 junction just up ahead (about a mile?), turn left onto the 417, follow it down to disney!

the other option is to stay on that road until you get to the i4, then head south. theres no toll road that way, but you will almost definitely hit bad traffic between downtown orlando and disney, no matter what time you go

Is the I4 still bad on a Sunday? We went the toll road last year but I thought it was still quite bad in parts and that was a Thursday around 5pm. This year we land at 3pm so I'm hoping we can hit the road by 4.30pm and will just go I4 if it's going to be almost the same amount of traffic as the toll roads.

When we were there in April /May there was an accident on the I4 every day, most of them on the downtown section. The I4 is not the place to be after a 9 hour flight !

Yes, you're probably right about the 9 hour flight so I'll take your advice and stick to the toll roads.

Thank you!
