Hi,
For our last full day we will be travelling north from Miami. Can you recommend a nice hotel, location to stay which would be btw Fort Pierce and Orlando. Thanks

Why not rent some points and stay at Disney's Vero Beach, we've had a couple of stays there and really rate it for a relaxing break.

We stayed at the Hutchinson Shores Resort on Hutchinson Island. Lovely hotel, right on the beach. Ideal for some relaxation time
ETA: sorry, just re-read your post! Hutchinson Island is north of Fort Pierce so May not be in the area you’re looking for... I remember we did visit Fort Pierce and it wasn’t far.

That's fine, I am trying to get at least halfway from Miami to Orlando with a night stay on the coast for our last night. WE're actually booked into suites on Hutchinson Island next to the beach but I'd've preferred a big hotel all singing all dancing rather than a small one !

It's not half way but the La Quinta next to the pier at Cocoa Beach is nice. My family built the hotel until they retired and were bought out by La Quinta, there's not much going on at Cocoa Beach so it's very relaxing.

Doubletree Indialantic is nice. A wee bit more than halfway though.
If you fancied disney's vero beach hotels.Com had late August dates on trivago recently might be worth a check. |
