There's fireworks at Cranes Roost park in Altamonte and downtown Orlando around a Lake Eola. Also Celebration as you said. All fireworks are very busy.

Would agree that all firework displays are very busy and near the fireworks it tends to be noisy.

Most beaches have fireworks, but you find generally empty beaches packed to the rim.

Had you considered maybe a Disney hotel a little further from the fireworks. Maybe watching WDW fireworks from the Polynesian, or if too busy somewhere along the Poly-Grand Floridian walkway. Then you get the lovely view, without the heavy sounds associated with closeup fireworks.

We locals aren't some exotic species you know. . Trouble is everywhere the fireworks are is really busy, most are around lakes, you can't really stand back because the surrounding buildings get in the way.

We watched the 4th of July fireworks from Polynesian beach back in 2012 after reading advice that it was a good spot to watch them from away from the parks.

The beach ended up getting really busy and it was a fight to find a spot. However the worse part was trying to get home after the fireworks finished. We had planned to get the monorail back to MK then a bus back to our resort, however whilst queuing for the monorail they closed it and we were unable to board, I don't know if this was due to normal operating times or crowd control because it was so busy, but we were told it had closed and to find other means of transport. We then decided our quickest option was to grab a taxi, but they were few and far between and the hotel staff we having trouble dealing with the large number of guests requiring taxis. Our only other option was to catch the resort bus to Disney Springs then swap to a resort bus back to All Stars Resort. Due to the 4th of July celebrations the roads around Disney were jammed and caused us more delays. We finally got back to All Stars Resort gone 1am, very tired and teasy! It definitely ruined our night and felt that the fireworks weren't worth the hassle!

Wherever you decide to watch them make sure you are prepared for the journey back to your resort!

awww that sounds horrible right enough, we are off site for the 4th we are only doing disney hotels the 1st to the 3rd ... hence I would think it easier to try somewhere offiste...or maybe universal ? not sure if they do anything special though
