Everglades (Airboat tour)

So for my birthday on Tuesday last week the family surprised me with tickets for the Airboat tour to see the alligators.

Has anyone been on this? Is it best to go early morning when sun starts to rise or late evening when sun starts going down?

Both are good times to go, you tend to get to see much more activity , I'd go for first thing in the morning. if I had to choose, we saw loads of local wildlife., but the sunset tour is good too, your bound to enjoy whatever you decide, was a really good trip away from the parks. Enjoy
