It is about five years since we went to Thailand but that price looks good to me. The cheapest flight we got was £350 which was a flight from Heathrow to Bangkok with a stop in Singapore. A bit annoying as we flew over BKK LOL.

£420 is round about the right mark. We're paying £485 next month on Emirates (Man-Phuket, Hong Kong - Man).
Internal flights are cheap, we're paying £32pp inc baggage (one way) on Air Asia for Phuket to Singapore.
So you need to play around with multi city versus internal.

We have flown twice and paid much more than that, we flew end Nov and then Dec

We flew Eva Air but we flew Elite so maybe that's why it was more, your prices sound good
