Anyone stayed at the enclave suites?

Just wondered if anyone has any exoerience of staying here and could give me their thoughts? I appreciate its probaby a budget hotel but is it clean? Also whats the free breakfast like? Tge location looks pretty good for universal studios which will be the only parks we do if we go.

Yes stayed there last year.
Very clean, dated decor, nice pools , all rooms are spacious and have balconies ,rare on I Drive, ours had a view of a lake and the Volcano .
Breakfast was continental but plenty of choice , you could upgrade to a full cooked breakfast for $6 on a daily basis... eg don’t have to do it every day.
We have booked to stay there again later this year (not that I’m expecting to be able to go)
As you say basic but good value.
Husband wasn’t happy when we first checked in as he didn’t like the decor, by day two he was saying we need to stay here again !

The majority of the rooms/suites are privately owned and rented back to the company that runs the site, some are in a horrendous state others are gd, it’s not got much around it, as it’s off of idrive but in the tackier part full of tourist tat shops and tattoo parlours, thou it is reasonably close to universal

Never been but if you want a rough guide to The Enclave Suites have a look on The Despicable Three's Youtube channel. From memory they stayed there last year(I believe May time) and cover off the rooms, breakfasts etc

Actually it’s on Carrier Drive , did not notice any tattoo parlours but there’s a very nice Chilli’s right next door as well as Pizza Hut inside the hotel.

There is a youtube channel called the Despicable 3, they stayed there in June last year and vlogged about it. For a budget trip, I would be happy to stay there.
